The news story is real, I saw it on MSN last week. I'm not sure who loses out more. While there's no shortage of natural seeds, I'm not convinced that these engineered seeds are really a threat to the agricultural economy. This ban will still costs people jobs. I guess it's okay though, when it's the evil scientists who get laid off....
