I'm trying not to do too many of these anniversary strips, but 300 kind of blows my mind. Thanks to all of you who are still on this ride with me. We'll see if the next 300 can be even better.
I'll admit, I just don't get the appeal of 300. To be fair, I'm put off by the gross historical inaccuracy (a quick and surefire way to piss me off), but honestly I don't want to sit for tow hours watching a buch of buff guys in loincloths interact with a bunch of other buff guys in loincloths. It's kind of the same thing Sucker Punch was, only with guys.
What historical inaccuracy? Remember, everything that took place outside Sparta was one doofus telling a good story to get popular support for a war. How else would Persia have cornered the market on mutants and carnies?

Not inaccuracy, just a great big lie.
