Seriously, nothing is open in Berlin after 5:00....except that Java Jo place you see in panel 3. That McDonalds? We had to drive 25 miles back to the freeway to find it...and that was actually on Sunday morning.
The little Java Jo coffehouse was strange. Pool and air hockey in the back, a small library back there too - four large bookcases and chairs (I found an old Phyllis Diller book for $2.00). In front was a counter for coffee and sandwiches and tables and chairs liek a small cafe. I wish I'd taken more pictures inside.
We wanted to hit that Diner in panel 2, but again...closed at 4:30! Even the family style restaurants or the nice ones all closed around 4:30-5:30. So the moral of the story is that you better get there early or you're out of luck. We were staying the night, and pretty much spent most of it in our cabin.
