A quick note about the costumes this year. I've seen Steve's shirt around so it bears no explanation. It fits with his personality - Halloween isn't really his thing and he's never really put a lot of effort into his costumes.
Chloe and Aimee were actually going to have each other's costumes originally, but when I started drawing Aimee, I realized that the Catwoman costume actually suited her better.
Chloe's Batgirl costume is based on some thing my daughter wore for Free Comic Book Day this year. We were given one of those generic Batgirl costumes (you can find them in any Halloween shop) with no belt or mask, so I created guantlets and a belt out of purple foam. The morning of, Lydia, who has never tolerated a mask in her life suddenly asked for one so she could REALLY look like Batgirl. I created one out of the same foam really quickly. It was fine but she tended to push it up out of her eyes and wear it on her forehead (kind of like Catwoman would in the old Batman series). It actually looked better that way!
Taylor's right. There is a Pig Spider-man called Spider Ham. I re-used my Spidey costume and created a mask and custom gloves for it to be this character for the upcoming Akron Comic-con. I did leafe Taylor's hair visible so we could better see who it was under that mask.
