I remember this happeing to me at Sarge's Records over in Oberlin. We used to hit the place occasionally before taking over the RAX next door to play games all night. I forget if it was Men at Work or Genesis, but the owner was so leased that I wanted that particular album (on vynal) that he gave to to me.
There's nothing wrong with any of those titles I mentioned by the way, I own a copy of each of them in some form or another. It's the difference between popcorn entertainment and the kind of writing that really makes you think and feel - and that Wild Cards story is definitely one of them. I was going to use Suicide Squad, but feared that might give the wrong connotation, and I'm sure you guys are sick of hearing me talk about the Shadow or the Lone Ranger comics!
