So I finally got out to see Captian America : The Winter Soldier this weekend. I liked it, but I really do feel this way - it's not a superhero movie. It's a political thriller. A full review can be found over on the blog.
A couple of weeks at Church I got cornered by someone who told me they needed my expertise. I assumed they had a computer problem and needed tech support. instead they asked "Explain to me what Guardians of the Galxaxy is!". It's a shame I don't know much about guardians, but really, I've never been into cosmic Marvel or DC. I'll probably wait for it to come out on DVD or Netflix, but if it hits the Palace I might just take Maddie to it...she's been showing an intrest in Sci-Fi.
As far as FF goes, the one good thing I hear about it is they seem to be going the ultimate FF route. I like Ultimate FF. However, the casting has got me bummed. There's too much change for change's sake and that always pisses me off. Still, it's a long way off. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
